Aurifil is thrilled to welcome Brandon Mably to the Aurifil family with Brandon's Threads— his debut collection and a long-overdue official introduction between two kindred creative spirits. An integral voice in The Kaffe Collective alongside Kaffe Fassett and a celebrated fabric designer with FreeSpirit Fabrics, Brandon has been stitching with Aurifil for years— so it felt only natural that his first collection would reflect exactly how he works.

A devoted champion of heavier weight threads, Brandon has long reached for them in his hand quilting, kantha stitching, and embellishment work, and Brandon's Threadsis built around that dedication. Ten Small Spools spanning a range of weights— 1 in Cotton 50wt for piecing, 6 in Cotton 12wt, and 3 in Cotton 8wt for all the hand stitching a heart could desire— the set balances key neutrals with the bold, saturated hues Brandon is known for. These are his go-tos, the colors he returns to again and again, which means they pair beautifully with his upcoming FreeSpirit release Bits & Bobs (arriving December 2026) while standing just as confidently on their own.
