Amethyst, 2025-2026 Hoffman Challenge Collection

Hoffman California Fabrics, founded in 1924 by Rube P. Hoffman, remains a leader in textile innovation, guided today by the fourth generation of the Hoffman family. Known for design excellence and premium-quality fabrics, the company invites you to join in celebrating creativity and craftsmanship in the 36th Annual Hoffman Challenge.

The centerpiece of the 2025–2026 Hoffman Challenge is a stunning new batik collection featuring 15 brilliant fabrics in vibrant shades of pinks and purples. Participants must use at least 5 of the 15 featured batiks and are encouraged to enhance their entries with threads from the coordinating Aurifil thread set—ten small spools of 50wt thread in a complementary palette of pinks, purples, and blues.
